Policy Tracker Glossary

The 50-State Longitudinal Policy Tracker is a collection of all 50-State Policy Tracker data NCCP has on file, dating back to the policy tools inception. It is important to note the discrepancies over time within the data. The tracker has evolved from a few policy dimensions in its infancy, into the robust collection of policy information today. The availability and variation of sources over time relative to NCCP’s key policy domains are the primary factors that determine what information is, or is not, included in the updates. In the future, as the Policy Tracker is updated and published on NCCP’s website, the previous year’s data will be added to these longitudinal data files.
